I cant save anything on the 1T external hard drive. I am running windows 7. The computer reconizes it but wont save

The Hard Drive must be Write protected. There might be a Toggle switch around External Drive for Write Protection. Or can you save files to any other USB Drive (Pen Drive) ?

I droped my 360 and my hard drive wont let me save anything can i fix it

Probably wrecked your hard drive, when dropped Hard Drives, working or not, often suffer a Head Crash, into the platter/media, I think you will need to replace the Hard Drive.

All of a sudden our xbox 360 isn't saving anything to memory. The memory to our xbox is completely deleted. No game gives us the option to save anything. What happened and what do we do?

It sounds like your hard drive is either dead or disconnected.
When you turn the console on put your hand on the hard drive, you should feel a slight vibration as it spins up. If you don't feel this check the connection. I suggest removing the hard drive and then re-attaching it. If you still can't get it to spin up you may need a new hard drive.

What do I do after the download is finished?

You can usually choose where to download a file to by clicking "save" instead of "open" and browsing to a location you want to save it. If you select "open" instead of saving it to a location you shouldnt have anything to worry about as far as hard drive space. Just do a disk cleanup once in a while and you will be fine.

It was 5 months since I bought the 1 TB hard drive.A couple of days ago,it was working as it should. But today, when I opened it to see a movie all files (or maybe all Data) were gone! And as if that was not...

Yes, power cuts, surges, low voltage, variable voltage and any sudden changes in electricity can cause a hard drive to fail or act improperly. If the drive had failed, though, you wouldn't be able to see or do anything with the drive now. Are you able to save anything to the drive now? can you browse to it and save a small text file or document? If you can save a document and read it from the drive now, the drive isn't completely failed, and your data may still be recoverable.

Bought an Iomega external hardrive and saved all my things from my previous job on it. Now, I am opening everything at my new job and although I can open it, I can not saved or edit or delete anything

Hello:

When you open My Computer is this new external drive recognized? Does it happen to say Disconnected Drive?

At work, does your IT department restrict you from adding any perripherial devices to your computer?

If this does not help, please let me know.
