Question about Blanco Classic Single Handle Faucet with Pull-Out Spray ....

1 Answer

Have a blanco torino pull out faucet and the flow has been reduced to almost nothing. before I pull it apart, any idea what the cause might be? I have undersink shut off valves and they are both open so water is getting through just not out the faucet. Can it be the ceramic disk cartridge? Any help would be appreciated. tks

I have found through experience that most of the time when water flow is reduced out of the spicket that the spicket screen is plugged up. Try to unscrew the spicket nozel tip and the screen should be inside of it. Look and see if there is something plugging it. If not vissible, clean the screen by running fluid through it backwards.

My Blanco Torino faucet is leaking under the button when you press the button on top to use the spray.

Check the hose connections at the spray head nozzle it sounds like it is leaking there and running down the hose and ending up under the sink.

Just installed a new Blanco Torino, model 157183, and inadvertantly got saw dust in the waterline during installation. It is restricting the pressure on the faucet. What is best way to clean it out?

I would try to unscrew the spray head from the hose and turn the water on to see if you get good flow from the hose. If so you need to clean the head, if not you will have to start taking the faucet apart and cleaning or possibly replacing the cartridge

Very low sprayer head flow

You can help to isolate the problem by checking the flow through the angle stops under the sink. Best way to do this is to first have flexible hoses, most likely 3/8" by 1/2". These flexible hoses can easily replace rigid piping from the angle stops to the sink. Turn the angle stops off, then unscrew the hoses/piping from the under the faucet. Aim hose into bucket and turn angle stop back on. If flow is still strong, then replace faucet. If flow is weak, call a plumber.

Low water flow from my Blanco classic #157-074R-ST

1st make sure the valves are on all the way. The valves may be old also. Make sure there are no kinks in the supply line. Once that is verified and still a flow issue remove supply lines (turn valves off prior) to check for debris in the line. With the supply lines off then turn the faucet on to the warm position and blow it out as there may be debris in the faucet. You also may have a calcium build up in the head. Clean it with some diluted CLR.

Low flow rate

Replacement heads are cheep and can be found at home depot or ace hardware, it is sand in the system that is causing your slow flow leeve the tip off the airater off and see if the water flows ok if it does then it's the small screens and you must clean with a needle to get all the sand out in each of the disks. Or replace it. are you on well water or city water?

Low water pressure/slow flow Blanco Elan faucet 2.2 gpm

pull the sprayer out, get some plyers or a wrench and losen up the connection. between the hose and the sprayer there is usually a screen take it out and walla it should take care of you, it also helps to leave the sprayer in some lime away or vinegar for a few hrs to get the hard water losened up in it
