From menu, go to settings, then on personalization click the profiles and then click the Ringing Tone button.
Choose one of the available tones there or click the MORE button and locate an mp3 you have on your phone. select it and click Done
you are ready with your new ringtone
Your ringtones will be in Filemanager/sounds.Please check whether you can access the ringtone there and you can play it. This is because you cannot play all the file formats in your phone. If it is possible, then just press right soft key and you can see the options for setting it as ringtone.PLease ask if you need any further info.Njoy
Go to Contacts, then select your contact that you wanna change the ringtone for. Select Edit, then go to ringtone and select the ringtone, hit OK. then you just have to save it and your done. your contact will now have their own ringtone for when they call.
Yes that's the problem with nokia 6600 that it cannot set mp3 ringtone. But you can convert the mp3 ringtone into wav ringtone which is supported by nokia 6600.To convert mp3 ringtone to wav ringtone download the free software using below link http://www.softwarepile.com/download/siac.exe
Most like your telcom switched from polyphonic ringtones to mp3 or real-tone ringtones only. The Katana 6600 only plays polyphonics(QCB) ringtones. And they're impossible to find. So you have to make your own.
