Question about Nintendo DS Console

1 Answer

Action Replay: I've connected the wire and done all the start-up stuff. My DSLite is at the computer update screen but on the top all it says is "error!" repeatedly! On the Action Replay pop up screen where it would say "Waiting for DS" it has the folder but you can't open it. When I tried to drag my new codelist over, it said "Not enough free space" so I reset my Action Replay using a+b+start+select. Besides all of my games being deleted, nothing changed. It still say "Error!" and when I dragged the codelist into the update list, then it freezes on the progress screen "Replacing Games" has been on the progress screen for 10 minutes and on the DS where it says, "updating..." the update bar isn't moving :( my Sction Replay has always cooperated

Action replay my son used his dsLite to delete all the pre installed games my problem is that with the stupid windows 7 format i cant reset it or load anything on it ?

Action Replay for the DS is "no longer supported" by the company so they never updated it to work with Windows 7. I have one myself and I spent hours trying to get it to work and nothing happened. The best solution (according to the company) is to buy the Action Replay for DSi and it should work with Window s 7 and the DS correctly.

Action replay doesn't let me add codes in custom code list!!!!!

Your Action Replay DS hardware may require resetting if you are experiencing any of the following problems:

* Code Manager PC software is reporting that Action Replay DS does not contain enough free space when it actually contains no codes.

* Code Manager PC software is reporting the console`s battery is low when it’s actually fully charged.

* Multicolored bars are shown on the screen after you confirm the entry of a game ID when trying to manually enter codes.

* You can use the Code Manager PC software without any problems until the Action Replay DS is connected via USB set to the update mode on the console, at which point Windows shows a run time error.

If you are experiencing any of these problems, please follow the steps below to reset the Action Replay DS hardware. Please beware that resetting the Action Replay DS hardware will not restore a default codelist, and any codes which are stored on the Action Replay DS will be erased.

1. With your console powered off insert the Action Replay DS

2. Hold down buttons A+B

3. Turn your console on

4. With A+B still held down, as soon as you see the Action Replay DS license screen press and hold down buttons START+SELECT so that you now have 4 buttons held down

5. Hold all 4 buttons down for around 10 seconds until the Action Replay DS loads to it`s home screen

6. If Action Replay DS doesn’t hold on the license screen for around 10 seconds when you do this, you may need to turn off and try again

Well for #1, the current action replay does not work on the DSi. It only works for DS and DS lite- As for #2, I think the action replay has to be active in a DS or DS lite

My action replay code manager is empty and I want to add pokemon

You need to restart your action replay.

to do this follow these steps.

1. hold A and B while turning on your DS.

2. at the Nintendo screen hold start and select.(still holding A and B.)

3. Let go when the screen saying, nintendo dose not''blah blah'' this product.

4. Turn off when you see the action replay title screen.

Once restarted try and add a code.
I had the same problem, but i did the above.
