Hi Sandy,

I got your issue,

1. Open Internet explorer and in the address bar type 192.168.2.1 and hit enter
2. You will be logged into the belkin router setup,it will ask for login password, leave it blank and click on the button "submit"
3. In the left side Under wireless , click on channel and ssid
4.In the channel and ssid , change the channel:11 or 6 and click on apply changes
Then it will not kick you out of wireless internet even when your microwave is ON

Thanks & Regards,
Prema

Welcome to FixYa! In regards to your problem there are possible options you could follow. 1. Check first if your computer is detecting the router. Go to your Network Connections and see if its detecting a connection with the D-Link router that you have. 2. I suggest go to this site that has a manual for setting up a D-Link DIR-300 Wireless Router.Check if you missed any of the process. Steps: Go to Google.com then type "cant get a internet Problem with the D-Link DIR-300 Wireless Router" and then look for DIR 300 Wireless Router Manual. There you will find all that you need in setting up your router. Hope this helps! Thank you for using FixYa!

My laptop used to connect to the wireless connection , but one day it stopped working and now i can only connect to internet using a lan cable

go into the device manager and uninstall the wireless adapter. Then click scan for hardware changes and let windows resinstall it. It sounds like a corrupt driver. Before doing so make sure you didnt hit the wireless button that shuts off the connection on the computer. :)

Wireless internet

Fax machines traditionally use analog phone lines to send their data and Wireless Internet being digital is probably not compatible. However of you provide the model of the Lexmark Fax Machine I will try to see if it is wireless internet compatible.
