Question about Dishwashers
I have a maytag Jetcleaner EQ Plus that has been working just fine. Yesterday, we had a power outage that lasted approximately 19 hours before the electric was restored. When the lights came on, the dishwasher did not. I flipped the breaker and when the dishwasher came on, all of the lights were lit and I was unable to clear the display (almost like it was frozen and needed to be re-set). I asked Maytag if there was a re-set button and they said I need service. Is there an easy fix for this or have you heard of this problem before?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

if you installed a new garbadge disposal at the same time have you popped the factory drain plug on the disposal where the dishwasher drain tube connects to the disposal. The plug is inside the disposal dishwasher connection tube . You cant see it . Just drive a screw driver through it with a hammer.Itt will pop out and then the dishwasher will drain.Just a thought.I forgot to do this to mine.

My Maytag Jetclean Flexiload is 4 years old. Upon choosing a program the timer counts down but little action is heard. Near the end of the cycle an Error message comes up. The dishes are stiil uncleaned.

You have debris down in the pump area. To get to the problem you will work from inside the dish washer and start by removing the spray arm and then using torx driver you will need to remove upper components of the pump/motro assembly to get to the debris. good luck

either the control board or the control panel needs replacement. Most likely the latter. There is a possibility that both parts failed also. Usually water gets inside the touchpad, corroding and shorting the touchpad. Good luck
