SOURCE: Error code F3 on Kenmore 911.4658815 electric range

The oven temp. sensor has gone bad.  Replace it and that will solve your problem.  The part # is WB21X5301 and cost is $73.49.  Can purchase at http://www3.sears.com/.  You can view the image at http://www3.sears.com/imaging/ImagePageJava.shtml?productTypeID=0124160&brandID=0582&modelDesc=Free%20Standing%2C%20Electric&modelNumber=9114658815&documentID=00053545&documentTypeID=PLDM&documentClassCode=PM&titleType=BODY%20SECTION&titleID=00002&.  It is inside the oven in the upper right or left hand corner.  Should be able to remove from the inside.  Two phillips screws and pull it out harness also.  Plug new one into harness and put screws back in and you are done.

SOURCE: f3 code kenmore model# 911-4552090

Hi pickerrauto7,
The f-3 code code indicates a bad or open temperature sensor in the oven. It is the little metal rod in the top of the oven about the size of a pencil.
Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
You will have to remove the back panel of the range to correct the problem. The temp probe is held into place with two 1/4 inch screws. If the connections are good then the probe is bad. Good luck to you on your repair. I am sure this will FixYa. Please dont forget to rate me.

SOURCE: kenmore oven has f3 code

What you have is a fried relay on the board. the contacts are stuck, Find the board and yank out the wire marked Br1 and see if the broiler shuts down. Do youur findings while the machine is without power amigo. More than likely you needs an expensive new control board. You could just remove and tape off one of the broiler wires if the bake still works.

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite error code F3

The F3 E2 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board in the range senses an over-temperature condition in the oven.

This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board.
If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe.
If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

F2-E1 - Touch Pad (Keypad) Cable Unplugged -
Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

It appears your timer/clock has failed in this instance.

I have a kenmore ultra bake, model #665 75022101 and the oven doesnt work the code E0-F3 comes up. i have the manual and have tried what they said to do but it doesnt work. i have bought a new sensor

The error code message F3 E0 indicates an open oven sensor circuit. This is the component that regulates the oven temperature.

First disconnect electrical power to the range. Pull the range out & remove the rear panel to the control area. Unplug the 2 violet wires on P3 5-6. You will need to have a meter for testing, set the meter to read ohms (resistance). Place the leads from the multimeter across the 2 violet wires, the meter should read 1080ohms if the sensor is good. If you do not get the correct reading you will need to replace the oven temp sensor.

The oven temp sensor is mounted to the inside of the oven cavity. You will need to remove the lower section of the rear panel to access the sensor connector. Unplug the sensor & slide it back into the oven cavity to remove & replace.

When using oven it beeps and displays f3

Could be one of 2 problems. Perhaps both.
Unplug the range.Access the control panel and unplug the ribbon connector from the control.
Wait 35 seconds and re-connect it.
If it continues to beep and code replace the temperature sensor.

Nothing Works Shows F3 Error

the F3 error code is an oven temperature sensor fault. The sensor is a small probe that sticks out of the back of the oven wall. They do go bad and can be easily replaced. If I had your EXACT model number (found along the inside of the oven door or lower drawer) you can replace it.hope this helps
