How can i remove dvd drive from b38c2d hcl laptop

My laptop HCL ME ICON L 1044 my problem is, when i power on screen are blink no disply show.this problem create after bios change select 1st boot device cd/dvd. so somebody pls help me

shut off computer *first back up computer*-press and hold zero-turn back on machine*still holding zero*-then continue till you see restore to factory(will restore drivers).

The D:/ is your CD/DVD .

Put a disc in then you will be able to see the contents.

go to control panel and click on add new hardware and check for the instructions

Go To Regedit.
Find UPPERLEVEL
del the Entry
Find LOWERLEVEL
Del the Entry.
Restart ur Comp.

MY HCL LAP TOP IS NOT ACCEPTING HDD AS IT DISPLAYING MESSAGE IN FDISK UTILITY NO HDD FOUND. IF I TRY TO INSTALL XP ON THIS LAP TOP IT RUNS INSTALLTION SEGMENT NO.1 AND NEVER SWITCH OVER TO SEGMENT NO.2 AND 3. KINDLY GIVE THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM.
