F22 is a door lock error. The easiest test is when you get the error code can you rap on the top, rear center of the washer and get it to start working again? Often the solder joints in the board start going bad. The unit reads it as a open door. Also make sure your door boot (the gray peice in the front of the washer) is smooth and not bound up. This will keep the door from closing fully and cause the same problem. Lastly, Check the connections to both your CCU and your door latch after unplugging the unit. For the CCU, remove the lid by taking out the 3 #20 torx bit screws on the back side of the top. Push the top slightly towards the rear and lift it off. The white box on the top rear center is your CCU. Make sure all of the connections are tightly in place. To check the latch, you will find a sliver wire around the gray boot in the front holding it on. Pull it off. The front of the boot will be removeable. Remove the side on the right. As you reach in. you will feel your door latch. There are 3 connectors. Make sure they are all pulgged in solidly. Now re-seat the boot (the edge fits in a gap that goes all of the way around. Once you do that, get the silver clamp you removed. Take a small flat head screw driver and put it in one of the holes next to the spring at the bottom. Next either using your hand or a tool (needle nose pliers work great) run around the sliver clamp working it into the channel for the clamp

My machine keeps stopping mid cycle with an f11 error code, what does this mean?

The troubleshooting section of my manual gives a Generic fix for F codes other than F20,F21,F22 as "Select stop twice to cancel the cycle.Select DRAIN & SPIN if there is excess water in the washer. Re-select cycle and press START If problem remains, call for service."

Not much help! Try checking the inflow by removing the hose to see if there is any debris in the inlet (rust etc.) Also could be a balance issue. Rearrange load and restart the cycle.
Or it could also be a leveling issue. Use a level to see if it needs to be raised or lowered by turning one or more of the "feet" with a crescent wrench to level the unit.

I have a Whirlpool WFW9200SQA12. F22 light

"F22" is a Door Lock error code. This is an indication of a door latch failure and/or interconnecting wiring problem. The first step in troubleshooting the problem, however, is to unplug the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). This is the main "brain" of your washing machine. Sometimes these error codes are erroneous and can be easily cleared by resetting the CCU. If the error code reappears following a CCU reset, then you have a genuine problem. In addition, if the door latch remains locked following this procedure, there is a manual release you can use to open the door. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r622155-kenmore_elite_whirlpool_duet_door_jammed

If you still have the error code displayed, inspect the door latch mechanism for any broken, loose, or missing components. Next, opne the top panel of the washer by removing the three screws in the rear of the washer that hold the panel in place. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then off. Locate the door latch on the right hand side behind the front panel. Inspect the wiring harness from the door lacth the to CCU. The CCU is located directly behind the wash tub in the top rear of the washer. Make sure all the connectors are snug and not loose or broken. In the majority of cases, a persistant error is a failed door lacth. If all these preliminary checks are unsuccessful, replace the door latch. The next link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587965-door_latch_replacement_fdl_error

NOTE: "Fdl" is the same as an "F22" error code. This error code appears on older models.

I hope you find this information helpful. If you have questions please let me know.

Error code f22 whirlpool duet wash cycle

f22 is a door lock error try this hit cancel turn your dial to another setting, hit start and once it starts hit cancel again and it should unlock. thats what i did anyway.
If you're getting an F22 error, you will want to check anything to do with the door latch switch.

F22

I have search for this and found:

This error code indicates that the door is not locking.
Is the washer door firmly shut?
The door must be completely closed for the washer to operate. The door may look as if it's closed, but it may not be latched. Open the door and firmly close it.
Were you washing a large load?
Before you close the washer door, check for laundry items sticking out beyond the door opening. Leave enough space in the washer to allow the clothes to freely tumble. Reduce your load size if needed.
