Question about Canon ImageClass D880 Copier
Not many as I use them for all of my service customers. They key is using a good source for the cartridges. There are cartridge "remanufacturers" who will sometimes just refill the toner chamber and do nothing else to the cartridge. This is where people run into problems and develop a bad attitude towards remanufactured cartridges. A proper remanufactured cartridge will have a new drum, wiper blade, seal etc. installed EVERY time thus making it a much more dependable unit. On your machine what I recommend is check with local cartridge suppliers if available and get a cartridge there. Then once you open it up and before you pull the seal tape out of it, turn it over and slide open the drum protection "gate" and look at the drum. It should be clean, shiny and obviously look like new. If it has wear lines or any other obvious signs of wear then return it and show them that this cartridge has an old drum. I would not give them a second chance.
If you need an online vendor than I would suggest PrecisionRoller.com
They have your cartridge for $39.00 and their part number is V3920.
I have had very good luck with all of the cartridges I get from them. They also offer free shipping on an order of just $75 or more.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
