There will be no action from the dryer when the motor is not running. The heating circuit is routed over the motor centrifugal switch. There will be no heat when the motor is not running. The problem in your case is usually a blown thermal fuse which is wires in series with the motor. Power to the motor circuit is cut when the thermal fuse is blown. Verify this condition by bypassing the thermal fuse. Access the thermal fuse on the blower housing depending on the model of your machine. The blower housing is located on the front left bottom of the dryer cabinet if the dryer has the lint filter on the front or at the rear left bottom if the lint filter is located on the top of the cabinet.

Bypass the thermal fuse by disconnecting the wires and connecting them together. Insulate them properly and plug the dryer back in. The thermal fuse is indeed blown and needs to be replaced if the dryer starts. Do not use the dryer with the thermal fuse bypassed due to fire hazards.

I have sony dcs-h10 that wont power on, when power button pushed (with ac adapter green light stays on & speaker chirps but not lens action and no LCD light?)

As long as the power cable is in the camera, you can't switch it on. You could try another battery, or chaco if all contacts are clean and shiny. Don't forget to close the battery cover correct. As long as the cover is not closed correct, the camera can't power on. If the contacts are dirty or oxidised, only clean with a dry cloth or cotton swabs.

Pushed reset button and will not respond. Red on light stays on

Copy following link for Utilitec LW60418 timer.
Same as Westek TMDW10, and Stanley 30418
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-LW60418.html

This timer is reset with one-button.
Unlike some timers that require 2 button push.
Push in reset button firmly with paper clip, and hold for several seconds. Repeat.
This action will clear timer memory.

If reset does not restore functionality, then timer could be bad.
This timer has 1 year limited warranty.
Suggest buying new timer at Lowes, and returning defect timer in new package.

The lights will blink when the door is closed and the start button is pushed

Try a reset. I have a kitchenaid. The reset is to press the sani-rinse, hea-dry, sani-rinse, heat -dry, then close the door. You can hear action the dishwasher doing something. Takes about 2-3 minutes, then stops. At this point I was able to select a wash cycle and start, close the door, and it started. Good luck

Kitchenaid dishwasher KUDS02SRSS2 start light blinking won't start

I have this same kitchenaid model. It would not start after selecting the wash cycle and pressing start. The light would blink as if the door was open. I did the reset by pushing the sani-rinse, heat dry, sani-rinse, heat-dry and closing the door. You can hear something going on inside. After that stopped (about 3 minutes). I was able to select the wash cycle, press the start, close the door, and it started. Good luck!

Dryer won't stay on.

lots of questions spring to mind, but if you have a push button type, it will only continue to turn once the motor is in motion. centripetal action allows a motor switch to keep the dryer in operation. look in that area.if you have a belt tentioner. check for continuity.
