Shuts off after pic (by 2 users)

Everytime I take a picture, the AF light blinks rapidly and the camera either shuts off or goes to standby mode...just started happening recently

I have the same problem unless I strictly use Lithium batteries.. then it stops.

Wizhave you changed your batterys recentley as digital camras work better with rechargable batterys
