From the way you describe the problem it may be that you are talking about the previous models of blender, the KSB52 and KSB5. If this is the case please see here.
If it is this model you are talking about, the question has been answered here.

How to disassemble krups gma1 blender

Myron's tip about the need to unscrew the grey rubber coupling is correct, but I was unable to grab the post and hold it still, even though I was using narrow needle-nose pliers. I just could not get underneath the rubber coupling. I ended up cutting the rubber piece off the steel cord inside the coupling, which exposed the threaded post. I could hold the post stationary from above while I unscrewed the steel cord. My old coupling was stripped and worn out, so it did not matter. A new coupling can be ordered cheaply.
I found that it was not necessary to open the housing of the whole appliance as long as you can hold the post stationery. And even if you can't grab the post from above, opening the housing won't help because it won't come off until the coupling is removed at the top.
If you need to open the appliance for anything else, Myron is right, you need to remove the 4 rubber boots on the bottom to expose the screws. The screws are so-called temper-proof screws for which you need a special screwdriver. The screws are called "pin-in-head-star". But removing the 4 scows is not enough. You also need to unscrew the coupling at the top.

Need a replacement gasket for the Cook power blender

Boy, I spent some time on this and - so far as finding an exact replacement on the Internet - I'm stumped.

But I'll tell you what I'd do, in your position.

I'd take the old worn (or split) gasket to Ace Hardware or True Value, and ask someone to match it up for you. Really, a gasket is a gasket. It's just a matter of the size, the thickness, and the "compressability" of the rubber (obviously, you'll want a soft rubber gasket). If you find one, you may want to buy two of them... just in case.

If this doesn't work, then get a square piece of rubber gasket material (Ace, True Value, Home Depot, etc.). You can either cut one yourself (use cups, jars, measuring spoons that are the right diameters to draw your two ring patterns), using an Exacto knife to carefully cut them out.

If you don't want to do this yourself, ask someone who's handy & who has a steady hand to do it for you. You can pay them with a freshly made smoothie.

How do i remove the rubber clutch of my kitchenaid blender

Grab the blade with a rag so you don't cut yourself, then grab the clutch with another rag and turn CLOCKWISE. It's threaded reverse - took me hours to figure this out. I found grabbing with rags or maybe towels worked the best. That should work

Replace the blade driver clutch on a Cuisinart CBT-500

I had this same problem. It was solved but let me tell you it was a nightmare and we were almost sure the blender would be destroyed at least 3 times during the ordeal.

Here's a hint: the thread is on opposite to a normal screw thread so that it gets tighter as the blender spins.

Steps:
1. Take the base off the blender and pop out the motor.
2. Turn over the motor and remove the round rubber part at the bottom. You will see a flathead screw. This is where you grip the shaft that the cursed brass coupler thread is attached to.
3. Find someone else to help and also a large strong flathead screwdriver.
4. With a friend holding a screwdriver in place at the bottom, grip the top brass thread with pliers (or better yet a pipe wrench) and twist it the opposite way you normally would.
5. Become extremely frustrated by the fact that the screw thread is made of cheap metal and strips instantly and that the brass thread is also cheaply made and rips right through your pliers / wrench.
6. Find a hack saw and a hammer.
7. Cut the brass thread off with the hack saw. Hammer the stubborn remaining pieces of it off with a screwdriver. Be prepared to cut off half of the shaft.
8. Eventually you should have hammered / sawed the brass thread off. If the shaft and motor are still intact, you can now screw the new coupler on (remember - its backwards). We had only about half of the shaft thread left and it still worked ok. Make sure to do this after you put the motor back in place with the shaft poking through the top of the case. Don't worry too much about how tight it is. As I mentioned its on backwards to tighten the coupler during normal use.
9. Replace the casing and screws, don't forget that rubber thing at the bottom.
10. Curse Cuisinart and make a drink, you deserve it.

Cuisinart sealing gasket

The gasket goes between the cutting assembly and the glass. So you slip it on over the top of the blades and then put the glass jar over top of that. Screw the bottom cap on to tighten everything together.
