Hi the file you received has corrupted the phones firmware it could be the the file you received is not supported by the software on your phone so it is now causing a conflict somewhere in the phones firmware.
now the only option you have to solve this is to have the firmware flashed back onto the phone again, to do this you will need to take it to a phone shop and ask them to reflash the latest firmware and that should then solve your problem.
now the problem with doing this is that once this has been done your phone will be reset to what it was when new so you will lose all the data on the phone such as numbers, ringtones, pictures etc, etc, if you have the leads to connect it to your computer then do this and save all your details onto the computer, if you cant do this then ask them in the phone shop and they should be able to back it all up for you.

their is no easy fix for this as it does require the firmware being reflashed once this is done your phone should be up and running again.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

I have my bluetooth on and have tried to receive files via bluetooth from other phones and from pc and i can pair with other device but not receive files. It says paired but not connected. Is there something...

Sometimes this happens because either you or the other person changes the pairing keys or remove your mobile from his paired list.
It can be solved by unpairing and then pairing again wwith the other device.
Go to settings in your wildfire, Wireless and network, bluetooth. Long press on the device name and select unpair. Also remove your wildfire from the other device's paired list. Then scan for bluetooth devices and pair again. This should solve this problem.
Also, when some device sends you a file via Bluetooth, there is a notification asking permission to receive file. Make sure you click on it and select accept.

Operation failed when receiving a file via bluetooth

don't worry. just make a backup of your personal data such as songs, images, games that are in the memory card. save that backup in your pc or if a have required space in your cell so save that backup there. now formate your memory card. after that replace all your data and then try receiving again. it will work, for sure.

I can't receive files via bluetooth on my Blackberry Bold

When you want to receive a bluetooth file do the following:

1. Go to Media.
2. Hit the menu key (left of trackball) and select Explore.
3. Browse to the folder you want to store the file in.
5. Hit Menu key again and select "receive using bluetooth."
6. Send from the other phone.

You'll have to do this for each file individually.

Receive files via Bluetooth

I think that files received via bluetooth are saved in to the phones memory unless you have an option to choose location. Otherwise after receiving filr manually move from device to memocard.
