Question about Samsung 943NW Monitor

I have a samsung 19 inch tft lcd monitor. Sync master 943nw/nx . Text is appearing a bit blurred. same with some videos. This problem came after i installed windows 7. So either I want the drivers for windows 7 or a way to revert back to win xp. Since i did a new installation I am not able to revert back to win xp. Please help?

    I have reverted back to win xp. I wanted that monitor to work on win 7 but since the drivers for win7 for that monitor are not available I had no choice but to revert back to winxp

    i have same problem. so u use a diffrent monitor & install XP then it will work on your p.c

Any FIFTEEN-inch screen is very old.
Responsibly recycle it, and buy a new 19 or 21 inch screen.
Your eyes will thank you for having the much-bigger screen.

1. Is it black or just darker by lower brightness? 2. Is the power led turned on and what color is it showing?

I have SAMSUNG LCD 943 MWX monitor which is 19"


This is not a monitor problem.This is a mother board problem, some mother boards are supporting this resolution.For this problem,you have to replace the mother board or put the graphics card on the same mother board.your problem will solve.

How to master reset


Master Reset or Factory Reset

When Factory Reset is performed, the setup value will factory default setting
When initialization starts.

1.Select System Setup from Menu Screen.
2.From the System setup submenu, Set Factory Reset to ON
3.When you exit Menu, The phrase FACTORY RESET Appears on the monitor and
The Initialization starts.{ON/OFF} Use arrows UP-- DOWN & , kEY TO MAKE CHANGES

that only means that the problem is the monitor itself which is an internal physical problem already in the device. either bring the device to a repair center or replace it already.

You can not degauss a LCD monitor.

Degaussing is to reallign the magnetic field on a CRT. An lcd has no such field.

The last time I heard of someone wanting a Degauss for an LCD, it was because there kid took a magnet to there LCD monitor. This will destroy the TFT pixels.

Hi! I have a problem with my Samsung 943NW Monitor. Recently I plugged in a thing which splits my sound input in two: one for a headset and the other for the loudspeakers. After done this my monitor driver just vanished, and I had a noname plug and play display and the 1440x900 resolution just vanished and was 1024x768 instead. When I tried to install the correct driver (which windows says I've sucessfully done) nothing has changed. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, which was the only change in the late months around my com, so this MUST be related some way. When I tried to install the driver from the disc I have given along with the monitor itself, the installer says I need to visit samsung's website for 64bit and Vista drivers. No downloaded drivers worked either. Then, after hours of searching I just watching my messed up screen, then suddenly windows did something I still couldn't figure out, and everything was fine again! I had 1440x900 resolution and everything went well... until today... This all happened a few weeks ago, and now I had to move my come in my room from one point to the other, so I plugged everything off, moved it, plugged back in, and now I have the same issue, but still without a solution. If you need any other specifics just ask, and thank you for your help in advance! P.S.: In sort, the windows 7 64bit is messing with the monitor driver after I plugged in the jack thingie, but removing it isn't solving the problem at all.
