Question about Motorola Mobility Defy Cell Phone
- Remove the battery cover.
- Turn the phone over so it is face down with the headphone jack at the top.
- With your finger nail, lift the top edge of the red flap so it hinges upwards... the bottom edge is fixed.
- You can then slide the SD card to the right and lift it out.
- Fitting is exactly the reverse.

With the DefyXT, the SD card cover is still to the right of the headphone jack but is black. It flips up the same way as the Defy, but to remove the card you need to turn the phone upside down with the headphone jack facing the floor; use your finger nail to slide out the card and hopefully it will fall out of its slot. It's a little tricky so if it doesn't come out you can use tweezers.
