- Remove the battery cover.
- Turn the phone over so it is face down with the headphone jack at the top.
- With your finger nail, lift the top edge of the red flap so it hinges upwards... the bottom edge is fixed.
- You can then slide the SD card to the right and lift it out.
- Fitting is exactly the reverse.

With the DefyXT, the SD card cover is still to the right of the headphone jack but is black. It flips up the same way as the Defy, but to remove the card you need to turn the phone upside down with the headphone jack facing the floor; use your finger nail to slide out the card and hopefully it will fall out of its slot. It's a little tricky so if it doesn't come out you can use tweezers.

How can I save my contacts to another device so i can re -add them onto a new micro sd card I have bought for my motorola defy mini ph.

If you plan on using another android phone. Use a contact sync service. Android has google embeded into it so you can use google contacts to save your contacts to a google account. Then on the new phone log back into your google account. You will be able to transfer over the contacts wireless and they will be store on the google's cloud. Also any future contacts added will automatically be stored.

How can i import contacts from another phone using no internet and no sim. i have all my contacts saved on my memory card. My old phone is HTC Wildfire and the new one is Motorola defy.

You see, I'm running Gingerbread 2.3.4 on my Defy for some time now, and I'm sorry for not being able to remember how it is done under Eclair or Froyo, but in Gingerbread, the Contacts application is a tab on the dialer one. Anyway, in the Contacts tab, if I go to 'Menu > Manage contacts', there are settings for exporting/importing contacts to/from the SD card. When exporting, a vcf file is generated in the SD card. When importing, a vcf is searched. So, for compatibility matters, I think you should use the Wildfire to export all your contacts, remove the SD card from the Wildfire, insert it into the Defy, and import your contacts from that file.
Hope it works for you.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you out any further.
Regards, Carlos

Sorry i don't have the Unlock code with me.Also no one provide the Unlock code for Your It's differ from Network to Network ,IMEI number and Country it locked Now...You can get the Unlock code at low cost from the website Named as Superunlockcodes.com and remove the Network Lock,If it asks for Security Unlock code means call the service provider and get it,Subsidy Code and Unlock code is Same,SPECIAL CODE is also same in Motorola Category,Motorola has Unlimited Unlocking tries,,Follow the Free unlocking instructions below :

Motorola DEFY Unlocking InstructionsWarning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Motorola DEFY mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Motorola DEFY mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1 - Switch ON your Motorola DEFY with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola DEFY is locked to.

WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'

It's because you or somebody already entered too many wrong codes, you just have to leave the Motorola DEFY ON with the errors message and after 40 minutes to 2 hours the message "Enter Code Special" will appear again!
Each Motorola DEFY mobile phone has an unique unlock code. You can buy the unique unlock code for your Motorola DEFY mobile phone using the form above.

When pairing a computer with a cellular phone, you can set your own 4 digits passkey, which must be entered at both devices upon request.
In the following link you can download the user guide:
