The machine is equipped with self-diagnostics and flashes a code when a problem is encountered. The fault code can be determined through the Wash Progress lights. Explicitly indicate which among the Wash Progress lights are turned on or flashing and post it back. You don't have to accept or reject this post in order to post additional information. But accepting a solution will not stop you from communicating with us. You can still contact us at no further cost as long as you need assistance regarding your concern stated herein.

It is fault code 4 and it means the Motor Controller module has had difficulty communicating with the Display Module. Unplug the machine or flip the circuit breaker off for at least an hour to forcibly reset the modules and eliminate the possibility of an electronic glitch. Replace the Motor Controller if the fault code persists.

One of 2 things wrong, either the lid safety switch under the lid is bad,and you need to remove the outer cover and open the control panel to replace it,you can first bypass it to check it with a jumper wire, secondly it could be the units drain pump plugged with debris and this will tell the unit not to spin, access the pump in the lower area and clean out all hoses and the pump of foreign material

My topload Roper washer cycles fine but stucks in rinse stage. It makes a noise on that stage. I manualy put it in spin mode (skipped the rinse) and it works from there. Please help.

Your timer is bad. There must be a pause in the timer for the neutral drain transmission to lock in.
No Pause.
No Spin.
To double check this, when the timer gets to the Spin cycle, open then close the lid.
If it starts to spin at that point the timer is bad.

Washer does not rinse & spindry after getting submerged in water.

everything needs to be checked from the timer control button to the motor, im guessing it agitated through the wash cycle but wont spin now right? your flood could have damaged any number of items... run through ( with the machine unpluged ) and test the components for continuity and/or resistance.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
