Hi fingers 1

There will be some overlap in bass response that you may need to tune out to tone down the boomy bits. You could tune this out with a 31 band EQ Another approach is to use a crossover or low pass filter to the subs to get some control over your bass frequencies. Another thought, if you're using the rig for stage work, how does it sound out the front. It may be standing waves created by the bass bins, moving them to different monitoring positions may also help.

I am more than happy to answer any other questions you may have about it, just give me a hoy :) If you are still unsure, or have problems, then before you give a rating for this advice, please get back to me and we can try some more things.

I want to run from my rxv2600 to a eq to an external amp to a pair speakers? yamaha online said run out of L/Rfront preamp to eq but i get no sound? Help plz am i missing something?

Must be connected to an audio OUTPUT.
There are probably preamp inputs and outputs.
Sounds a little strange, but signal (sound) must travel OUT of the Yamaha, IN to the EQ to be processed, OUT of the EQ, IN to the external amp to make it big enough to drive speakers, and OUT of the amp to the speakers.

Not enough bass going to speakers

Are you using it in full surround? Check all of your connections on the speakers, check the inputs and check your eq settings.

Have u tried to run the setup / installation, to detect if your speaker system, have or not, subwoofer / size of speakers, etc... or run the manual setup or change the configuration of the bass. -10db + 10db

My peavey ul 115 bass bin will only work through its bi amp input. Why is this ?. The other one works fine but when I switch speakers I have the same problem. Can you help please ?..Thank you.

The bi-amp jacks bypass the internal crossover. You need to look at the crossover section and see if an internal protection fuse has blown or if hte crossover itself is smoked.

Have a peavey-xr-600b peavey mixer amp. i get aloud hum and noise and cracking when plugging speaker jacks.

Hi chillin884

Not a good sign. Something has gone wrong with the output stages of your Peavey. It is not a good idea to continue plugging it in as damage may occur to your speakers. I suggest you take it to a decent music gear repair guy for a look see and give you a quote to repair These heads, like all Peavey gear, are pretty solid and worth repair. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news like this, good luck

Vocals missing while playing with 2 speakers

Go to the amp "Basic Setup" and alter basic setup according to
- the size of the room (details in the manual)
- alter the no. of channels e.g. if you have only 2 front speakers, change the channels to 2.1 (.1 for the subwoof)
- Once the setup is changed, the amp pumps in sound according to the set up

All the best

They may be a special edition for the Impulse boxes. Can you tell me what is happening to the speakers? Are they burning voice coils or what. May indicate another area of concern that is making them fail.
