Bought a sony dsc h300 camera about 2 years ago...bought a Kingston Memory card for it....what do I do now ?

Have you tried formatting the new memory card? Sony suggest you format a new card using the camera.

Supported capacity:
  • Memory Stick Duo" media: up to 64 GB
  • "Memory Stick Micro" media: up to 16 GB
  • SD card: up to 64 GB
  • microSD memory card: up to 64 GB

You may also want to check the camera's user guide to narrow down what's causing the card not being detected.

I added a 2gb mirco SD card to my Sansa e270 6.0gb player, but the memory is still only showing 10mb of the original 6.0 gb available for use. How do I get the Sansa to recognize and use the 2 gb mirco SD...

Hi,when you purchase a new micro SD card before use, youwill need to format the memory card so that you will be able to know the actual size of the Micro SD card by checking the details after formatting it.

After formatting the micro SD card and checking the details, if you still do not see the accurate size which is about 1.88mb or the about, that means the micro SD card you bought needs to be replaced. Not a good one.

Have a nice day.

What is the most capacity of Micro SD that suport of that cellphone!

The SDA announced the microSD format at CTIA Wireless 2005 on March 14, 2005, and approval of the final microSD specification was announced on July 13, 2005. At launch, the microSD format was available in capacities of 32, 64, and 128 MB. SanDisk introduced a 2 GB microSD card in July of 2006, initially priced at 99 USD. Since then, prices for flash memory devices have fallen dramatically. The same 2 GB card as of April 2009 can be found for as little as 12 USD at department stores, and as of May 2009 for as little as 6 USD at online electronics stores. At present date Jan 2010 a 16 GB micro SD card class 2 comes for about $40 and a 4 GB class 2 micro SD card comes for about $8.

Cannot install 4GB card into TL220. Do I have the

According to Samsung's page on this camera, the following memory can be used:

External Memory(Optional) : Micro SD (up to 4GB)
Micro SDHC (up to 8GB)

4 GB is acceptable, but I think you do not have the correct type of card. You should be using a Micro SD or "Micro Secure Digital" (up to 4GB capacity) or a Micro SDHC or "Micro Secure Digital High Capacity" (up to 8 GB capacity) card. This is very different from an SD or SDHC card. These Micro cards are very small (smaller than your thumbnail) and are often packaged with an SD adapter card. Regardless if sold with or with out the adapter, the package should say Micro SD or Micro SDHC on it somewhere.

Recocnizing micro sd card

The original Blackjack will not recognize anything larger than 2gb. Sorry, but you just wasted buying those 4 gb. cards. I found this out the hard way too when I bought my daughter a 4gb card for her Blackjack. I have a BJ2 which will recognize the 4gb cards.

Solution for ''sandisk 2GB micro sd It will not format it says maybe it is on read only how can i change it''

Dear,
1. Make sure that PC has an updated antivirus
2. If same is repeted then fault is in the card.

So, you can visit to service centre if, it in in warrenty period else go for another card.

Thanks,
