What does F11 error message stand for on my Whirlpool awo 9565 washing machine?

The F11 fault code indicates a serial communication error between the Machine Control board and the Motor Control board. This can be caused by several different problems.

A failed Machine Control board could be failing to provide the Motor Control board with proper voltage. If this is causing the F11 code, then the Machine Control board would need to be replaced.

The Machine Control board could also be failing to supply proper voltage to the door lock assembly. The Machine Control board would need to be replaced for this failure as well.

Voltage flows from the Machine Control board to the Door Lock Assembly. The Door Lock then energizes and closes the Door Lock MAIN Switch. Voltage flows out of the Door Lock Main Switch to the Motor Control board. So if you have power into the Door Lock Assembly but not out of the Main Door Lock Switch, it will give you an F11. If so, you will need to replace the Door Lock Assembly.

You could have a bad Motor Control board that is causing this failure. A bad wiring connection between the Motor Control board and the Machine Control board could also cause this fault code. A bad wiring connection between the Motor Control board and the drive motor is also a possible failure. A failed drive motor could also cause the F11.

With so many possible causes for this failure, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair the problem in your washer. If you are able to unplug the washer and check the wiring connections, you may be able to find a loose wire harness connection that is causing the problem. Much of the diagnosis for the potential problems noted above requires live voltage checks. I do not recommend conducting these types of checks yourself. Unless you want to take a chance and replace the Machine Control board and the Door Lock Assembly,

Regarding neutral light that does not come on

Figure the only things that could go wrong with it are:

1) blown fuse (if it has a seperate fuse)
2) bulb burned out
3) neutral switch assembly no good
4) wire burned/broken/disconnected.

IF it is in fact a bad neutral switch, here's a replacement:

Error code le on washing machine wm-1480fhd.... drum stops spining in certain directions and then stops with the error code :LE

Well, according to the LG error look up table:

LE Locked motor error. Cause: The connector (3-pin), male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the connector. (3-pin,female,white) of stator assembly. Or the electrical contact between the connectors. (3-pin,male,white) in the motor harness and 4-pin,female,white connector in the main PWB assembly is bad or unstable. Or the motor harness between the stator assembly and main PWB assembly is cut (open circuit) Or the hall sensor is out of order/defective.

Decoding the techno speak, this means that the little rev counter, built on to the back of the motor and connected by 3 wires has either come loose, fallen off, failed or its wires are unplugged. The result is the machine can't figure what speed the motor is running at, so it shuts it down.

My digital camera lense is jammed in how can I fix it?

The camera will need to be carefully disassembled, Preferably by a Technician or a savvy electronic person. Care is the most important thing when opening up small precision pieces. Not only with the possibility of loosing small screws and parts, But there are lots of small fragile flat wire tracts that will easily tear if improper disassembled. The Optical Assembly will need to be removed and disassembled carefully so no dust get on to optics. Motor and gear train pulled, and lens reset to home position ( In with Shutter closed). This is the basic steps to restoring proper position to the lens, Observe the proximity switches near or around the drive cluster or optical assembly, Be sure the solder joints are OK. IN most models this will usually fix the issue, unless it's a Controller issue on the main board.

Error 32 appeared on my passbook printer?

Removing the Accumulator cleaning blade clutch assembly to service the clutch for error 32 messages.

This process takes 2-3 hours first time, under an hour when your experienced.

1) Remove the fuser and imaging unit (cover it up, it's light sensitive)
2)Remove the back cover, the main engine board EMI shield and interconnecting wiring shield
3)Remove the main engine board and cleaning board
4)Remove the accumulator cleaning blade clutch assembly
5)Disassemble clutch, service and re-assemble, it goes back one way, take note of white dots
6)Reassemble all.

Removing the top lid allows you to maneuver the engine board and base bracket out without unclipping all the wires.

Washer wont spin out the clothes at end of cycle

Yes This is usually caused by the door switch. These are fairly inexpensive and very easy to replace. First unplug your machine. To check you will need to remove the wire ring that holds the front door seal to the front panel. To do this go to the six o’clock position and you will see the spring of the wire clamp, grab this with a pair of needle nose pliers. Grab it right where it connects to the wire part of the clamp and pull it parallel to the front panel. This will stretch the spring so it can be pulled over the flange. Next carefully peal the door seal off of the flange. You do this with a sort of rolling motion towards the opening in the door. Next remove the screws that hold the door switch in place. Make sure you have one hand supporting the switch assembly while removing the screws. Now pull the whole assembly out the opening. Mark wires if you need to and then remove the wires. Now connect your ohmmeter to the 2 wire on the bottom you should have a reading of 1500 ohms no less than 1400ohms. If it is below the 1400 or more than 1700 replace the switch. To reassemble reverse the order of disassembly. Making sure the little arrow on the door seal lines uo with the mark on the front panel. The spring can be a little trick to get back on but grab in same position as removal and use the other hand to push it over and around the seal. If it is within this range the main control board is at fault. Not inexpensive. You can enter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com to view diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

Purchased 1996 Ford Crown Victoria. On driving it home the cruise control went out. Tried to reset and won't work, as well as the horn. What is the problem?

The horn relay is located toward the front of the engine. It is located just behind the radiator overflow reservoir and attached to the inner fender next to two other relays. It is the only one without a plastic cover over the top of it. FYI, our Crown Vic horn didn't blow, and the cruise didn't work. I changed the relay and still no horn. I decided to check the horns themselves. Found wires disconnected from terminals. Touched wire to horn terminal and horn blew incessantly. (previous owner had disconnected horn rather than diagnose why) Pulled the horn "button" from steering wheel and disconnected the wire leads and horn quit. Disassembled the "button" assembly. Foam had degraded over time between the contacts. (Ford has discontinued this part). Cleaned and replaced foam with Scotch foam mounting squares with holes punched out over contacts (2 layers thick). Re-assembled and viola! Horn and cruise control both work! Relay was bad as was horn button.

Handle got hot, circuit breaker was activated, now switch does not start vacuum

Hello. The cause of your hot handle must be investigated as you have a bare wire or connector which is shorting out. If you are handy, disassemble the handle assembly and look for melted rubber, a bare wire touching metal, etc. The fix is to replace the bad wire. Regards. Joe

No water coming out

On my LGM, the motor that drives the soap pump had siezed. I disassembled down to the pump and separated the motor from the pump. With pliers, forced the motor shaft to turn and sprayed lubricant (lithium grease) onto motor's front and rear bearings.
Heater box is a little tricky to remove. Remove 4 screws to remove top plate. Lift heater out and remove insulator. Remove two screws from inside box to remove heater box bottom.
