PROBLEM ARCHOS 700 NEW HD TV

HAVE HAD MY ARCHOS 700 FOR 2 YEARS NO PROBLEMS.UNTIL NOW,I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A HD TV WITH HD CONNECTIONS ,THE PROBLEM IS CANNOT CONNECT TV TO ARCHOS AS IT IS HD CONNECTED TV IS SET UP ON HDM2 NOTAV AS I HAD WITH MY OLD TV WHICH WAS NO PROBLEM.WHAT DIFFERNCES DO I HAVE TO MAKE?thank you
