Re: Memory Card locked on nokia 6085
try this method and I hope it helps you
1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.
2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore
3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.
4. At the end of the file you will find your password.
I have the same problem i have forgotten the password and now my MMC doesnt appear when inserted in the phone or connected to the PC. Also i am not getting FExplorer that support my 6085. Further there is one more problem i have updagraded my phone software and many of my phone certificates are lost. As those certiicates like Verisign are not available the phone doesnt support many third party softwares and if loaded doesnt allow GPRS connection for those application. If i am able to install FExplorer on the phone this might help me in copy the certificates directly to C:\\root file which contacins the certificate. Please advice from where can i download FExplorer for 6085.

1. Memory card not formatted. 2. Memory card could be larger than 2GB. 3. Brand of the memory card.
Nokia 6085 uses MicroSD (TransFlash) and it could support up to 2GB. If you're using a memory card that is not formatted or bigger than 2GB, you might get this error "memory card not supported'.
Sometimes, brands does matter. Nokia phones prefer to use Nokia memory cards. So you need to try using different memory card to see if there's a problem with the card or with the card slot on the phone.
Usually, if you are going to received files via bluetooth it will ask you where you want to save the file, directly to memory card or phone memory, if the phone is not asking you, it is automatically will be saved in phone memory, you should check the phone's memory, that is why it is not accepting the transfer via bluetooth, Check the settings and make it saved to the memory card.
THIS WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE ALL FILES!!!
Take the memorycard out of the phone and,
put it in a computer.Use filesystem FAT-32
to reformat your memorycard.
Now the card will work again!
No password, No files will be left after a
