Question about Cell Phones

Hi ,i m from Qatar i hv htc desire which is t mobile unlocked. my desire is getting over heat even on normal use and keep rebooting. i tried so many thing and root my device also but that does not help me.i underclock the cpu as well but nothing happen it still over heating and reboots oven on battery temperature is only 25c. as i m in qatar my device is not under warranty so i open the back housing and clean the board with alcohol that also did not help at all. It works fine for some time till the temperature get high. pls help.

I agree you should try to use the warranty.

However you said the device is not under warranty. Perhaps try to resell it on a cold day?

Even using underclocking/undervolting the phone will often reach temperatures above 25c.

Using CPU tuner (an application for Android) you could underclock your phone a lot (say put it at 400mhz) whenever the temperature exceeded a certain limit. That way you might be able to use it as a regular cellphone if not as a smartphone.

You need to return the phone. There is a problem with some of them that is thought to be hardware related.
