Jasjam

my jasjam has now totally frozen.. did do it 2-3 times a day but always came back online. Do i need an update last one was done over a year ago when i purchased this poor phone. It also tells me that my imate subscription is out of date. If i needed one could they not have send me a textmessage ?? dont use the phone for web or emai that is why i did not bother..
Had the kjam before and nothing but trouble and hoping that this one would be better... should call it jasjunk. tried to take out battery and chip but it will only go to the my info page..
Can you help before i through it over board..
