Replacing Comms board on iphone
Hi,
I need my comms board replaced on my iphone.
Wifi worked for the first day or so and then stopped for no reaons, bluetooth does not work either. The phone was a present from my sister who bought it in the US and sent it to Ireland. I tried Apple support and they said they don't support phones bought in the US in their Ireland and UK repair centres. Does anybody know where I could get this repaired cheap?
If not I will hang on and get the 3G one when it comes out and use my current one as an Ipod.

- Tried all that and nothing. Its definitely a hardware issue.I simply need someone to fit a new comms board.

wifi problem is common.....reset the network settings ...and then try ...it might help....or else restore the iphone. It will surely get sorted out. Bluetooth only works for the headset. You cannot transfer files using bluetooth since the OBEX protocol is disabled in iphone :(.

There is an iPhone repair service that can help you with that or a free iphone repair guide, if you want to do it yourself. The part is readily available on Ebay and should run you around $100.
