If you replaced the batteries make sure they where "new" batteries, try pressing the sync button on the mouse first, then on the receiver.

If that fails unplug the receiver from the computer wait about 30 seconds and plug it back in, wait for windows to recognize the device again, then re-sync the two.

Wireless devices are handy, however they do add one more area of failure to your computer. I'd highly recommend going with a USB mouse unless you need the wireless range.

Mouse model 1007 does not work. lights are both lit one on mouse one on receiver but cursor doesnt move. hit the connect button and still nothing. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the battery and put it back again

Try plugging the receiver in a new USB port and install the drivers again. If it is already installed, make sure the Mouse is being detected by viewing it in Device manager.

After following the above steps, you can press the connect button to sync up with the receiver.

The issue can most probably be related to corrupted/hang drivers so you can try restarting the computer and changing USB slot for receiver.

Hi, My cordless mouse does not work. I changed the batteries. The green light is lit on the bottom of the mouse. I tried resetting it. Can you help? Sue

It sounds like you have to re-pair the mouse. Press the "connect" button on the signal receptor then press the "connect" button on the bottom of your mouse.

Try the mouse on a different computer. If it can't work on there then you may have a defective mouse. Contact logitech about warranty info.

My mouse was just working and all of a sudden it stopped, I changed the batteries, reset the small button on the bottom and also pushed the button on the plug in portion. Help Allen

I have a miscrosoft wireless laser mouse 6000, and it also stopped working on my laptop. I changed the battery, still not working. I tested the battery in another device, and it was good. I moved the mouse to another computer, and it did not work. The light on the usb connector was lit. [No changes at all to my laptop.]. It seemed like there was no power to the mouse, and I looked at the contacts inside the mouse. The contact just inside the battery opening appeared to be bent down away from the contact on the battery tray. So, I pulled it up a little so it would connect when the battery drawer closed, and (after tweaking it a couple of times), it finally worked!

Mouse not responding to commands properly

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
