Dear Sir, I am sajan from india i have a PC using ASUS mother boardK8V-MX still its working but when i start the computer i have to set the time and date. i tell to my system supplier they told battery problem and they change the battery..after that also same problem.. now they r telling the problem with mother board that i have to send for service and it will take 2 month to get it back i cant wait long time so please help me . i think the backup supply is not getting to the chip.. can i do some thing for that can i get that back up circuit..for this mother board. waiting for ur replay regards, Sajan +91-9995038586 email@example.com
You could try to reset the CMOS using the CMOS jumper settings near the battery, other than CMOS reset and replacing the battery there is no other way you can do to fix it other than returning it to the supplier. What you can do is to try to request a motherboard service unit in your supplier so that you can still use your pc until you are waiting for your motherboard.

To get rid of this message at boot you must turn off the Chassis Intrusion detector feature. To do this you must restart the computer, as it boots press DEL to enter BIOS. Under the SECURITY tab in BIOS select CHASSIS INTRUSION and select DISABLE. Then select EXIT and SAVE CHANGES and OK to reboot the system.
When ever I start my computer it directly goes to bios settings and it
says *********** board frequency not set properly. I tried with every
