My Whirlpool GU2455 dishwasher door stopping latching all of a sudden. I press the Start button. It just blinks and nothing starts up. Seems like the door latch lost its grip and hangs loose when you touch...

the door latch actually has usually 2 microswitches on it that connect to the timing device ie: timer or control board:: if the door is not latching properly then it will not power the control board and the blinking light is a failt code telling you that... it sounds like the door latch is broke and needs replaced... i would order a new latch very easy to replace. you remove the inner door panel of the dishwasher and then will see the door latch mechanism made of plastic of course isint everything these days.... replace it and reconnect the wires ...obviously i would suggest turning your breaker off to dishwasher prior to operating on it....a few good reputable sites to order parts from good luck to you

I have a whirlpool quiet partner i dishwasher (model DU1055XTSQ2) that has suddenly stopped working. Control panel has partial functionality. All of the buttons on the control panel have a green LED...

The control board has failed.

Open the door & remove the 8 or so allen screws. The board is simply plug and play.

Bad design - the vent is right by the board - so its subjected to moisture.

Whirlpool dishwasher will not start

I have a quiet partner I and it is doing the same thing!
I have only had it for 3 months. It did it once before, then after about a week, I tried it again and it worked fine?
I can't find my warranty anywhere. I bought it at Lowes.
Does anyone have any kind of solution? Looks like it is a common problem.

Whirlpool dishwasher repetes cycles continiously

yes does sound like a "stuck"button within the membrane switch cause constant restarting and/or re-cycling. wire diagram and tech sheet are generally located under the lower acesss panel(unless previous repair ***** returned it). tried looking up the part couldnt find exact model match mine all ended in Q1,Q2, ** Q3, but parts from my models ranged from 110-165
