There are a few ways to reboot a laptop. You can shut it down using the menu and tell it to restart and it will reboot. Or you can shut it down and retart it using the power button. Either way reboots it the same way or to the same effect

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Reboot to factory settings

if you have a backup on another drive or you were told that its has a default backup from the factory itself then you can try pressing f8 when you reboot your laptop. then an option will be shown if you want to reformat to factory settings etc.mine is ctrl + f8 to get to that option, yours probably is just f6.
