You probably have a broken power jack. If you are sure that it does not see AC do not use the unit. If you do you will eventually destroy the power section on the main board and face the expensive repair bill of replacing the board. If you take it to a reputable repair shop now and have the power port replaced you will save alot of money later. This is not something you can do yourself. Total cost to repair should not be more than $150 US.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the excellent rating. Great ratings keep experts helping everyone solve their problems. Thank you.

Engine will not start

It sounds like you have a parasitic draw on your battery, without wiring diagrams, and a good understanding of electrical systems andsub systems, finding and fixing the parasitic draw is going to be impossible. You may be substantially better in the long run taking your vehicle to a shop, and having them diagnose the cause of your parasitic draw.

Hp 6715s laptop battery charging bat battery backup not starting problem solyution

If I understand you correctly, you are saying the computer will run with the AC adapter plugged in, but will not start on battery power even though the battery appears to be charged. Most likely the battery is defective. If it won't run on battery power with a known good battery, then there is a problem in the power control circuit on the main logic board inside the computer.

My computer is having problem, my battery meter is not reaching 100% i dont understand, because my computer is not old and am using window 7

Not sure how long you are charging your laptop. But turn it off and let it charge for a 24 hour period to see if that makes a difference. You might need to fully discharge your battery (let it run down completely) and recharge it again. Do this a few times and see if you can get a full charge before disconnecting it.

I broght a compatible battery for my hp laptop zd8000 it does not charge at all i put my old one in it charges fine the battery im using or trying to work is model r3000 so i cant understand whats going on...

If you made sure that you removed any protective tape or film from the battery terminals, and that there's good electrical contact between the battery and your laptop's socket, then I'm afraid that there will be no other option but to claim the battery - it might be of inferior quality and something got disconnected inside during transport...

Although tradesman moterhomde plugged into electrical, engine's battery loses power, any suggestions as to why?

I am assuning you have an operation (read "working") isolation switch in your system. Such a switch (mechanical or electronic) will isolate your coach battery from your chassis batery. If you dont drive the vehicle often, it is possible for your chassis battery to go dead while the coach battery remains in tip top condition. (Coach is always on "charge". Im going to guess your chassis battery is not new.

Of course when you drive, you charge the chassis battery and in some installations, you also charge the coach battery. You dont want the coach battery to run the chassis - think about it and you will understand why. Other installations provide a switch that will allow you to start the vehicle with the coach battery if required.

If you dont go out often, consider a small trickle charger for your chassis battery. Since you keep your motor home plugged in, you have 110 V AC power available in the coach. Just plug your small trickle charger into the motor home and charge your chassis battery. Remember to disconnect the charger before you start the coach.

Safe travels. Let me know if this helps.

Cannot power on the laptop. Automatically powers off, within seconds.

you have not described that whether it goes to shut off during running of operating system or just after starting the computer.

anyway if you are experiencing this problem while running the operating system then check power options in control panel and set these settings according to your required position.

and if you are experiencing this problem right after the power on of computer. then these is problem in computer,s motherboard or battery.

starting computer without battery and only with charger if it works well then there is problem in the battery.

Hopefully you will understand all.

Battery dont last long on laptop

A good way to shop for a longer lasting battery is to pay attention to how high the mah value is. The voltage is how much power the battery actually puts out at once, but the mah determines how much storage the cells have. So if you see one battery that's 1300mah and another that's 2200mah, the 2200 will most certainly stay live for longer.
