LCD panel is the most expensive part of the whole TV, you will be better off selling parts on EBAY and use the money for a new TV.

Why does thread keep breaking today?

Install a new needle. Needles should be changed frequently. A bent, dull, or damaged needle can cause a lot of havoc. A new needle is the most economical fix available.

Remove the thread. RAISE the presser foot, then rethread from the beginning. Make sure it is threaded correctly. Usually, thread breakage indicates mis-threading or the thread has jumped out of the take-up lever or another thread guide. Make sure that the thread is not hanging up on the thread spool or around the spool pin. Also check that the tension has not been set too tight.

Phillips TV

Dear Sir/madam,

You have defective filter capacitor/s in the vertical circuit. Or defective solder connections on the pins of the vertical ic.
If you can bang it on the side & get the picture back up, then you probably have a bad connection in the vertical output circuit.
It should just require resoldering the printed circuit board & I would guess right at the output I.C.. Replace the IC with authorized service centre.

Good luck

Cracked screen

If the screen is cracked the television is not worth repairing. The screen cost plus labor would be more than the tv is worth. If that's all that wrong you may be able to sell the boards or even the entire unit on the internet for parts to at least get some money from it.

I have an older sawzall that is 2-speed and requires an allen wrench to change blades.Wonndering if it can be converted to the newer style keyless type?

Not economically. With the low price of sawzalls today, it's cheaper to buy a new one and keep the old one for rough cutting.

Hi! Today I wanted to take a picture of my cat. When I pressed and holded the button, the digital camera freeze and the screen change to white! Then it turned off .. now the lens is not in camera is...

Check the battery. If the battery is OK, then th e camera has some problems. In most cases, the camera is beyond economic repair. If the camera is a few years old, buying a newer one is a better option. I'm seeing brand name 10 MP models NEW for $60. you might check online auction sites for used ones. I've picked up 5 MP ones for $5.

Is it worth replacing a broken 32'' samsung lcd screen only 8 months old due to my kid throwing the remote at the screen? or does it cost more than the 500 I paid for it.

It would cost almost as much as this & as the price of Samsung's 32" screen have dropped in price it would be economical to buy a new TV. You could try to make a claim under your home insurance as accidental damage, this might recover some of the cost.

The cat knocked over the tv.. the screen looks all white and shattered.. can that be fixed or replaced it looks like some one punched it,,

Unfortunatly the screen has been damaged beyond repair & will need to be replaced. This can cost almost as much as a new TV so it would probably be more economical to buy a new one. If you have insurance you could try to make a claim for accidental damage to recover some costs.
