You can try safemode by pressing F8 at the time of booting (The time before it shows loading Windows), Then try to log in by clicking "Administrator", rather than your "UserName", if this account is not disabled by the engineer who had done the installation of the OS. Then goto control Panel - Users - Remove password from your ID and restart.
Else you have to try tools like Swiss Knief to recover password.
Try it if it is your own system.
