It is a very vague statement you have made. Please clarify if it is dead, or the lights come on but the fridge does not cool. What is it with your fridge???

Hello. Thanks for choosing Fixya! If your fridge is not working at all, there are several possible causes. If there is power to the appliance but it still seems to be stopped, there may be a problem in one or more of these: Wiring Thermostat Defrost timer Compressor Overload and/or relay Unfortunately, we can't describe all of the possible problems and repair solutions here. If you are unable to troubleshoot the problem from here, you may need to contact a qualified appliance repair technician. The other option is to get back to us here with the brand name and model of your fridge, and the specific reasons why you say that it is not working. We really do want to help you but we need more information. Thank you. Joe

Air conditioning not working will not cool car

hi

this may be because
1.the refrigrant is not sufficient for cooling so the cooling process is not taking place.
2.there may be some leak due to which the refrigrant may drained out
3.the cooling fan is not working properly
4.the radiator is not proper.there are blocks in it which reduces the rate of cooling.

these are the reasons

Freezer and refrigrator both not cold as supposed to be

make sure the compressor is working first,if not then replace the ptc overload on the compressor,if you have had lights blow out in the refrigerator section and theres a chattering/clicking sound in the rear and the new lights strobe dimly and the digital temp read-outs are dark, then its the main board in the rear thats bad

My motor is running, but the temperature is not cooling and everything is starting to melt.

The motor is running normally?so that mean there is no gas in the system, probably a leak of gas in the system, have you not smell the leak of gas?How old is the refrigerator?

Refrigrator stopped working

Morning, This seems quite a easy problem to fix.! Check to see if the f/.freezer has to compressors (motors)? If so the you find that is more than likely to be that the fridge thermostat has broken. A very easy way of checking if you electrially minded is to remove the thermostat from the housing a connect the live and common wires together and switch on, It then should switch on if there is no other problems, Then just replace the stat.
Good luck......
