    Have a bucket standing by to
    catch any left over water in the pump hoses, and remove them from the pump.
    The pump is held on to the motor by two spring clips. (Figure DD-4) Remove
    the spring clips and pull the pump off the motor shaft.

    When replacing the pump, make
    sure you check the pump discharge hose for any impeller pieces that may be
    clogging it. Also, when installing the hose clamps, put them in a position
    where they won't hit the cabinet when the machine wobbles off-balance. should look something like this

I have a roper that spins but want drain

Your drain pump is clogged.
Remove the cabinet, remove the pump and remove whatever is clogging the pump.
The pump is located in front of the drive motor.

Hello, you may have a small drip from the pump or a small drip from the hose that goes from the pump to the rear of the cabinet. To make sure you will have to run the unit with the cabinet removed. A local service tech can remove the cabinet quicklyand isolate the leak.

remove 2 screws on rear of console lift console forward and roll back remove the lid switch connector remove the 2 clips on each side pull rear of cabinet forwardand slide cabinet off remove screws in center of agitator under cap and pull off ..lean washer backward remove pump clips and hoses remove 2 screws in motor clamps remove clamps and motor remove 3 1/2 in bolts holding gearcase to bottom slide gearcase out remove clutch and reinstall on new gearcase if you go slow and take note reassembly not that hard

Water leak

remove the 2 screws holding the console in, they may have trim on them.flip it up and you will see 2 metal brackets on left and right. pop thos off taking note how they are on there, disconnect connector on the top of the cabinet(door switch wires)lean cabinet foward pull towards is know free of the rest of the machine. put back reverse of these directions making sure the back lines up properly with the cabinet.

hi thanks for the question. the cabinet has to come do this. 2 screws 1 each corner of the console. remove. lift the console. 2 brass clips on top. remove. disconnect the wiring for lid switch. pull cabinet off. put washer on a block to raise it . its easier. . remove the clips that hold the pump on the motor. remove the motor. 2 screws 2 clips. replace coupling thanks the appliance doc

hi thanks for the question . i think the problem is with themotor coupling that is on the motor and transmission you have to remove the cabinet 2 screws on the console . remove .lift console . remove 2 brass clips on top disconnect lid switch pull cabinet towards you. remove the water pump 2 spring clips . remove the clips on the motor disconnect the power to the motor remove the motor . replace drive coupling thanks the appliance doc

Leaks water from the bottom

Your pump is probably leaking. It's mounted right at the front of the cabinet to the motor. It's held on by 2 clips and 2 clamps, very easy job. Part number for the pump is 3363394.
