Check the water level switch. If the tube is blocked, than the membran inside can't see the pressure. It's looks like this. Some machine's have more than one and some have more contact's which means that they can measure more than one water level. In most cases you have to take off the top cover of the machine to locate it. Take off with care the tube and blow towards the pump to remove a block.
To test the water level switch you need a multimeter in resitance Mode ( Ohm) to measure the contacts of the switch. If you gentle into the switch you can hear when the membran switches the contacts - on the multimeter you should see a change ( 0 if contact is closed - 1 if the contact is open). If nothing happend then the switch is faulty and have to be replaced. DO NOT TURN THE SEALED SCREWS on the switch. I hope this could help.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

### Sin, cos,tan don't work. For example, I click 1, 2nd and cos and I'm getting 1 instead of 0.54. In all other buttons the 2nd function is working but not for sin, cos, tan. Thanks for any help!

I wonder if your calculator is set to the wrong units. Your calculator can be set to degrees, radians, or gradians. I assume that you want it set to degrees.

When I click 1 2nd and cos, I will always get 0, because using the 2nd before the cos turns the function into cos^-1 (inverse cosine). The inverse cosine of 1 is 0 because the cosine of 0 is 1.

Good luck.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

### My washer works but it will not work in the spin cycle

Every washing machine, top or front loader, has a safety feature that disables the spin functions and that is the lid switch/lock for top loaders and door switch/lock assembly for front loaders. This is to prevent injury when the lid/door is opened during a high speed spin. Check lid/door switch harness and connections. Replace lid/door switch assembly if no issue found with the harness and connections.

### How to solve for the trigonometric functions in the casio scientific calculator?

Press the relevant function key [SIN],[COS],[TAN] followed by the angle value.
For inverse trigonometric functions [SIN^-1], COS^-1], or [TAN^-1], Press [SHIFT][SIN], [SHIFT][COS], or [SHIFT][TAN].
For other functions
sec(x)=1/cos(x)
csc(x)=1/sin(x)
cot(x)=1/tan(x)

When calculating trigonometric functions one must make sure that the angle unit the calculator is using is the correct one.

### Why the cos of 90 is -0.44... ?? and the tan sin its'nt correct in the calculator what can i do ?

The trigonometric function evaluations depend on the angle unit you are using: degree, radian, grad
While cos(90 deg)= 0,
cos(90 rad )=cos(90* 180/pi degrees)= -.448073616

ALWAYS CHECK UNITS before using trigonometric functions or their inverse functions.

### How to use the cosine, tangent etc functions of calculator fx-82ES plus

Hello,

2. Press the key for the function COS, SIN, or TAN
[COS] displays Cos(

3.Enter the angle 12 deg Screen shows cos(12
Close the right parenthesis ) Screen shows cos(12)
4.Press [=] Screen displays 0.9781

If you want the inverse trigonometric functions you access them with arccos [SHIFT] [COS] (cos^-1)
arcsin [SHIFT][SIN] (sin^-1)
actan [SHIFT][TAN] (tan^-1)

You have to know the principal domain for the inverse trigonometric functions (see any book on trigonometry) to understand the results.
Hope it helps.

### Cos+tan(sin)=sec

This is a trigonometry problem not a calculator's.
cos(x) +tan(x).sin(x) = ( cos(x) + (sin(x)/cos(x)).sin(x). After reduction to the same denominator (which is cos(x)) you obtain

{cos(x).cos(x) + sin(x).sin(x)} divided by cos(x).
The content of the bracket above is just 1.
Your fraction will have 1 as numerator and cos(x) as denomitor. That is exactly the definition of the secant function i.e. Function sec is the reciprocal (not the inverse) of the cos function, while the arccos is the inverse of cos.

A mild advice: Avoid writing function without specifying the argument (the variable on which a function acts).

### Will not spin Maytag PAV2300AWW top loader

check your door switch. Many times a faulty door switch can prevent the spin cycle. When you locate the door switch, take a jumper wire across the connection and advance the timer to spin. If it spins with the jumper wire, you will need a new door switch.
