You need to check all the thermal fuses that are near the heating element if there is one that has no continuity then it needs to be replaced.also check and make sure the correct amount of power at the terminal block if there is not 220 volts at the terminal block the unit can work but not get hot..will look for comments a model number will be helpful.

Hi, my dishwasher doesnt appear to heat the water-am I able to get a replacement part? Thanks

mfr,, model? (hot water is to be supplied into the washer, it seems cold water is supplied?)
there's a 'heating element' but i guess this is use to dry the dishes.
"heating element" should be available, search using mfr. & model no.

What is the model number of the dryer? I did not see where you checked the "heating element" on the dryer. Check the element for continuity.

Kenmore dryer doesnt heat

You may also need to change your thermal fuse and the thermostat. On some models the thermal fuse operates the heating element only and others the whole dryer

Dryer turns on doesnt dry

Suspect heating element or thermal fuse. The heating element and fuse can be checked with an ohm meter. The reading should be 0-2 ohms on both devices. If heating element reads infinity (nothing) replace heating element and fuse. If the fuse reads infinity then replace the fuse.
