Question about Jenn-Air 24 in. JDB1100AW Built-in Dishwasher

1 Answer

I have a jenn air dishwasher (JDB11000) that is about three years old. It has several problems, and I am concerned that these may all be related. The dishwasher does not clean dishes well, all of the rubber that seals the door is rotting, and the rubber seal on the bottom gantry also appears to be rotting. Thank you for your time.

Please refer to this drawing for layout of door seal. It is part 10. However i would not say the deterioration of seals would be linked to wash quality. If anything there shoul be leaks here and there. The dishwasher appears to be new and may not have been used regularly.

One thing I can guess is if the seals on gantry are leaky then water may not be getting to top arms. Check this drawing. There might be some rubbish in item 1, the manifold.

You could replace the washers / gaskets and clean the wash arms. If that does not fix it, then wash pump is the next to tackle.

JDB1100AWS not rinsing

if your filter assembly is clogged you are going to need to clean it. if it is really bad then it should be replaced. the part number is 99003292 and would probable cost about $30. the other thing is start your dishwasher on a rinse cycle and see if you have suds in the bottom do not put additional detergent in while checking this. if you have suds run vinegar in the dishwasher to help get rid of the suds as that can cause the same problem. Let me know if you need additional info

We own a Jenn-Aire model W27400W oven. The display module has gradually gone dim over a period of several months prior to the end of the warranty, and the display is no longer visible. It is apparent that several Jenn-Aire oven models use the same display. Does Anyone else have the same problem, and If so, are they willing to join a class-action suit against Jenn-Aire with us?
