Question about Cuisinart DGB-600BC 10-Cup Coffee Maker
I had the same problem and was on here looking for the answer and finally took it upon myself to find the solution.
First remove the lid of the lid it has a slot and pulls out towards you.
I used a wide flat head screwdriver and from the back on the machine placed it under the grider assembly and slow applied presure while rocking the assembly side to side and it finally released.
I cleaned and dried the assmbley then sprayed some cooking spray assembley and inside where it slides back in. it doesn't come in contact with the water of coffee so tasting it isn't a problem.

If you still have manual call service number, if still under warrenty they will ship you new one for shipping charge. You can try to pry it out, this sometimes works, if you get it out put some veg oil on shaft where basket slides on.
