Everytime I click on a picture it doesn't show up it just has a white place where the picture should be with an X in the left hand corner. Then when I try to make my own senario it does the same thing. When I load the picture it doesn't come up. It just goes to a white box with an X in the right hand corner. What do I do???

I am not sure if you are talking from a programmer stance or a user stance. The white box with the x (supposed to have a description) this means the picture was not located where the program was directed to fetch it. The program (HTML) knows the size, but has no goods to display....If you are not making the website, kindly notify the webmaster. It happens.

From a user stance, there is likely nothing wrong with your machine.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'

A 'System Restore' window will appear.

Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next

Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '<' sign in the upper left hand corner of the Month Calendar and select any date that you see in Bold.

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.

After reboot your problem should be resolved.

When booting up, the monitor status splash shows up. Then it goes into a black screen with some small white boxes in upper left-hand corner. It takes forever to display the log-in screen, probably more...

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On.

Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.

Its saying MO in the upper left hand corner and AC won't turn on

Diagnostic: Set SYSTEM Switch to COOL and lower the setpoint below room temperature. Within a few seconds the thermostat should make a soft click sound. This sound usually indicates the thermostat is operating properly. Ifthe thermostat does not click, try the reset operation .If the thermostat does not click after being reset contact your heating and cooling service person or place of purchase for a replacement. If the thermostat clicks, contact the AC manufacturer or a HVAC service
person to verify the cooling is operating correct.

MO stand for MONDAY.

Just let Windows install IE 8 and now the desktop picture is over

Change the resolution. Right click in the middle of the screen over nothing, and select properties then select the settings tab and move the slider left for larger resolution.

I have an acer aspire laptop and everytime i turn it on it comes up with a black screen and a flashing white underscore in the top left hand corner is there a way to fix this?

White underscores rock. They let you enter your BIOS password and stuff. Your system has achieved Zen and you're unhappy with that? You better clear up what you wish it would do for you.
