Question about Keyboards & Mice

1 Answer

Keyboard problem whenever i wish to type something like in word, address bar of internet explorer(anywhere something can be typed),some symbol starts apearing there and even if i press the backspace key it resurfaces.Earlier it used to be this (""""""""""")and now it is the 'equal to' sign.I couldn't type' equal to' sign now because that button is not working.Such behavior though doesn't happen continuously. When such thing happens and on right clicking on the desktop a particular sound also appears.

I've got the same problem, the "=" sign appears about once every second. It's not in every program I use, only in a few of them, and I think it's preventing my screensaver from turning on

How to type @ symbol

I am not familiar with this particular keyboard, but it sounds like you are not finding that symbol (@) on the keyboard. On most keyboards it seems to be the shift of the "2" key (at the top of the keyboard, not on a separate number keypad). I checked keyboards from three manufacturers, and that was the case on all three. However, if that key is not working properly, you could define "(a)" or something similar to be auto-corrected to the "@" symbol. Finally, you could try typing the ASCII character by a keystroke combination such as Alt-0064. In MS Word, when I type that combination (make sure to use the numeric keypad, not the number row keys), I get the "@" symbol. The same works in many programs.

My keyboard letter types wrongly to type @ I have to press shift and 2

UK keyboards use a different key for @.
If you wish to change the keyboard layout, you can do this by right clicking on your taskbar and select "language bar". When this is done, right click on the keyboard symbol and select "settings". Change the default language (to UK) and your keyboard will type correctly.

Wireless Keyboard issue

This might be a long shot, but if you are having the most trouble while you are on the internet, or in an internet might have some infections.  I would try using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to scan for infections.
If you come up might be a hardware (keyboard) issue, as you thought.  Is there a way you can test this keyboard out on another computer?  If the problem is the same on another PC, then it might be time to buy another keyboard.  Good Luck!
