ok, i know a little when it comes to trouble shooting, i have a dell optiplex gx520 machine, i noticed it just shut down, i opened system cleaned it up, remove all the dust. i closed the machine and it worked for one week, right now it only boots to the screen with the saft mode option and now, when it reboots the power light stays on and the fan fan somtimes spins extremely fast, i tried everything, what can be the problem, i try reinstalling but, it just goes off and the power light stays on,

What type of PC are we talking about? Have you tried a replacement "known to be good power supply", the board will spin up with ram & video card not seated correctly. are you getting any bios "beep" codes?

okay you may have cracked the processor or it has to be either the ram, video card not seated correctly, something pluged up wrong, or unplugged and missed it the procesor is cracked you will have to get a new PC
