Question about GE Microwave Ovens
The microwave shutting down and reseting is a thermal cavity fuse mounted on the magnetron most likely.Your cavity TCO may be shutting down the microwave simply because the vent in the rear is blocked causing the magnetron to overheat. This is especially true if your microwave mounts above the stove. Clean up the vent on the back side of the microwave using some mean green or 409.
