Remove 2 screws from the left scanner cover, disconnect the flat ribbon cable from the formatter (main board). There are 2 silver self tapping screws in the rear and 1 each on the side of the unit that need removed. Slide the scanner section forward slightly and lift off.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Ive replaced clutch and gear lever cables but it still is stiff going down throught the gears also had new gearbox on a j2 lantra

1. replace your gear oil.
2. is this an automatic or manual transmission engine? if manual, adjust your clutch release a little higher than usual to let your clutch engange earlier.

Vstar 06 will start with choke on does idle but give it gas or turn choke off will kill what will cause this

Sounds like you need a carb service. Its pretty simple to do but be advised that you will have to sync them when they are put back in the bike.
If any questions just ask and i can guide you throught the process or just take it to your local Yamaha Service Dept.

Nad c520 high pitched ringing

Hi, From your description, it sounds as if the noise is coming from the circuit that controls the display backlight. If I recall correctly, the C520 has an EL backlight just like the C521 (which I have one of). On the front of the circuit board, there should be a little yellow trimmer potentiometer that controls the brightness of the display. It may be that the noise will go away if the brightness is turned down some. If  the noise varies as you turn the controller, but doesn't go away completely, the backlight may need servicing.
