Washer hot water fills fine, but cold water fills slowly. The rest of cycle works fine. Water lines were just replaced. There is not a clog in the supply hoses.

First you should remove the hoses. While the hoses are removed look inside the water inlet valve there should be a screen in there also, remove and clean the screen out. Some screens will not be removable so you will need to clean in place or remove the water inlet valve. If all is clear you will need to check the solenoids on the water inlet valve for power. If the solenoid has power when put in a fill cycle and no water eneters your washer you will need to replace the water inlet valve. Most water inlet valves must be replaced as a unit, so if one solenoid fails you replace the hole valve assembly. These are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a video at that will walk you thru the testing a water inlet valve. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. If you need help disassembling there are also videos of disassembling most styles. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models will be available. All parts come with installation instructions.

SOURCE: Kenmore 110 Top Load Washer-cold water fills extremely slowly

No it is probably the screen that is either in the end of the hose that attaches to the machine, and/or the screen is placed so that the cone is toward the machine instead of pointing away from the machine.
If the cone is pointing towards the machine any debris in the lines would collect and eventually fill the screen cone and slow or shut off water flow.

The inlet valve on the cold water inlet is clogged, dirty or jammed. You need to remove the inlet valve and clean the valve and filter. use back flushing with brushing to clean the filter.
the hum you hear is of the coil working but is not opening to allow water into the system.
Also you can switch the inlet valve from the hot line if needed .
check this link for removing the inlet valve:

My washer will fill with water during the wash cycle just fine, but during the rinse cycle the water just trickles in. The water lines seem to be fine. What else could be causing my problem?

usually the wash is a mix of hot and cold and the rinse is just cold, that said, it is most likely a problem with the cold water supply. check to make sure the cold water valve is all the way open and the hose isn't kinked. If those are ok turn the water supply off and remove the supply lines on the machine side, you will see a screen inside the washer that may be clogged with sediment. If so, just clean it out and put it back together. You may also want to run a wash cycle on cold only to see if it fills slowly for the wash cycle. If it does fill slowly on cold you have low pressure on the cold side.

The cold water stopped while filling the washer. Will not come back on. I washed one load fine and then it quit. Model # 417.98702891, serial # XE04601499. Please help!

try and change the water temp selector switch.if the hot water is working.make sure to also check the cold water supply and make sure it is not clogged.you may need to replace the water valve.you can also swap the water lines and try to fill the unit if cold water is selected then you will get hot water if you do not then replace the fill valve.

The water fills very slowly on rinse

You probably have a cold inlet valve with restricted flow, either because the filter on the inlet valve is clogged or because the cold valve is failing......If you wash on "warm" you have both hot and cold water mixed. On rinse there is probably only cold water used....Check water flow for HOT and COLD settings and you'll probably see the difference...Good luck...Nomess

I can't get the cold water to fill the tub/rinse. the hot works.

Your problem is either a clogged COLD fill valve or a bad water fill valve. Turn the water off. Remove the COLD hose from the WASHER. Check the filter screen inside the valve for sediment. If you find sediment, remove the screen and clean it. Replace the screen and turn the water back on. If you do not find sediment on the screen, replace the water valve.

Cold water dribbles in rinse cycle, hot and warm water fine

If you check the warm water flow you'll likely find it is HOT...and not warm. Check the faucet end of hose to see if screen is clogged. Should be screened washer with the dome portion of the screen facing out at you. Remove it and clean with brush to remove grit or scale from screen. If you find nothing there you need to replace the water fill valve located at the other end of the hoses. Good Luck
