Did this work before? or is it new? Is the USB cable good?

First thing blow out any dust in the USB socket.
No good? The un-install then re-install driver.

Re-start PC
Good luck

Where can i replace my installation cd for my inovix dc-550 camera

http://buycamcorder.org/touch-screen-10mp-dc-550-digital-camcorder-camera-in-one-new-technology-on-sale-now.camcorder
I didnt found anything by the name of Inovix ..but I think it might be this one .if it is ..you do nto need a driver for to connect it ..and it is actually seen by all windows and mac by simply inserting the usb cable ..and select the pc-connect on the lcd screen ..If the auto-play will not pop up to prompt for an action ..you have to open the my computer folder and find it there either by its name or as a removable drive ..and all files inside ready for copy ..
You can use any photo manager to import from it ..windows photo manager ..or ACDsee
If you can not connect it ..and the camera is not the one in the list ..I suggest to plug the usb cable ..power it on ..and go to device manager and see it in the list ..(click right and scan for new hardware if it isnt in the list ) ...when you find it ..it will be in yellow if it has no driver..in this case click right on it ..than properties..and choose details ...copy the device id..and hardware id ...and run them on google for a driver ...usually the device is well identified by windows..
But lets hope it will not be needed..cause if the camera is the one in the image ..than you will not need any driver to run it ..

How to install webcam

Following Step to Connect Webcam:-
1. Read the installation instructions completely before attempting to install the camera. Although this may seem tedious and unnecessary, it can save time and headaches in the long run.
2. Back up the computer's hard drive just to be safe. This will allow for a speedy recovery should the installation mess up the computer.
3. Install the webcam software. Before deciding to install the disc that came with the camera, check the Internet for an updated version of the software and download that if available.
4. Plug in the webcam. The software should give a prompt at the appropriate time. Cameras are usually installed with a USB cable. If installed correctly, the computer will acknowledge so by popping up a message saying it can see the new device.
5. Download an instant message program if using the web camera for chatting. Some free IM download programs include Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Apple iChat.

Labtec webcam not working why i did every thing my computer not detecting this ****** i install all the posible drivers already i used window xp. I hate this man.

ok, uninstall all related drivers to this camera,

Now using the supplied disk install the camera software but please do not connect the camera YET, if the camera is already connected,
remove the camera and reboot,

so you installed the camera software now plug the usb camera in, it will now detect the install camera software and work.

I need to find out where I can get a driver for a Moultrie I40 trail camera to view photos on a laptop

hopefully you're using XP...easy solution....use the usb cord that came with the camera;plug into camera usb port;plug other end into usb port on pc/laptop;turn camera on..."found new hardware" wizard should pop up asking for cd with driver etc.;tell the wiz you want to choose driver from a list....a list of manufacturers will be on left/models on right...don't look, Moultrie ain't there, but GENERIC is...choose Generic;scroll down right column to find imaging devices;choose...a warning that it" may not be compatible...;ignor and choose...it will work and you'll get a prompt that hardware is ready to use...go to start/my computer/double click on drive id'd as "digital cam drive;MOULTRIE CAM, OR HOWEVER YOUR COMPUTER ID'S IT;a folder will pop up;double click;a sub-folder;double click, ect.,until you see the pics. Enjoy...

Cannot install this hardware

First of all, you might want to read this:

http://www.fixya.com/support/t299686-install_microsoft_lifecam_vx_3000

What system are you using?

Try doing a Google search "LifeCam VX3000 installation" and seeing if any of the documents listed helps you. I am not sure what OS you are using (Windows XP or Vista? Linux? Another?) Others have reported problems too. Be careful about which you do first during setup. Some systems require installing drivers/software BEFORE you plug in the camera, and some require you to install software/drivers AFTER you plug in the camera.

I plug my camera into the usb to load pictures to my computer but nothing at all loads.... isnt something supposed to pop up? i have the polaroid i633

Make sure you have installed the software/drivers for the polaroid i633.
Many cameras require you have software installed on the computer hard drive in order to detect that camera.
If you do not have the software/cd, then you should be able to find all you need at the polaroid website.

Many other cameras of recent times do not need special software, and will see the camera storage as a hard drive.

Connection between camera and computer

What operating system are you using? Is you camera connected via USB? Have you tried using another USB port? Did you make sure to install the software before plugging in your camera?

Generally if you are running Windows 98, you will need to reboot after installing the software to even have a chance of the camera being recognized correctly.

If you are running Windows 2000, XP or Vista, the camera should be recognized and a driver installed or searched for from the CD software you installed before plugging in the camera.

Sometimes if you plug in the camera first without installing the software, the PC finds a new device with no driver. You can see this by going to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager and you should see and exclamation on a device in the list. You need to remove this item and reboot your PC.

Now install the software first and when the install is done, then plug in your camera. Generally this works out pretty well.
