Hello.

There are a few approaches to this problem. You could try to eradicate the trojan horse or roll your system back to a date before the problem occurred. What's happening is the trojan horse is continually sending out these messages.

Boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date when your system worked OK. Note: with System Restore, everything, including your documents and other files you saved on the hard drive, will roll back to that date.

Hope this solves your problem.

Hello,

you can resolve the problem by installing an anti malware software on your computer. This software is basically for internet viruses.

Download the trail version of this software. It lasts for 30 days, but once you run the software, it will destroy the trojan horse virus.

Download and install the anti malware software from the below link:

http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/antimalware/

Click the download.

After downloading, allow run the program and believe me, it will destroy all the internet viruses on your computer. My computer has be attacked by worse internet virus and this was what I used to clear them. It works like magic.

If you have an further question, or have any problem running the software, please let me know.

Lastly, not that while the program starts to scan, it can take up to 30 to 45 minutes to load complately.

Good luck.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

What is trojan horse virus

A Trojan Horse is full of as much trickery as the mythological Trojan Horse it was named after. The Trojan Horse, at first glance will appear to be useful software but will actually do damage once installed or run on your computer. Those on the receiving end of a Trojan Horse are usually tricked into opening them because they appear to be receiving legitimate software or files from a legitimate source. When a Trojan is activated on your computer, the results can vary. Some Trojans are designed to be more annoying than malicious (like changing your desktop, adding silly active desktop icons) or they can cause serious damage by deleting files and destroying information on your system. Trojans are also known to create a backdoor on your computer that gives malicious users access to your system, possibly allowing confidential or personal information to be compromised. Unlike viruses and worms, Trojans do not reproduce by infecting other files nor do they self-replicate.

Please rate the solution if helpful. Thank you

Am getting complaint from my friends that some mails are going out from my mail ID without any subject with some web links,I need to avoid such type of mails.what should be done to avoid

At this point you have to go in and change your password. However by the time this has started happening unfortunately the culprits have already changed the password rendering you powerless over your own email account. You can try contacting yahoo but these things don't usually end well. Good luck.

Someone has hacked into your email account and is spreading worms, trojan horses, and viruses to everyone on your email list, in your contacts or otherwise.

Someone is sending email using my aol address. Some are from my address book and list no Subject, they heve no message. Many many others are sent and not are not delivered but returned to me with message...

Barb
I would contact AOL and tell them what's been going on. It's possible that someone guessed your password without using a spy program. I haven't used AOL in a few years, but here is where you can get their contact information. I'm surprised Norton didn't tell you that. Good luck, hope it's just someone messing around and nothing serious.

Someone has gotten all my contacts off my computer and is sending spam and links using my email address, HELP

This is the main reason why you are getting all this spam email. 95% of all junk mail you get is because you gave your email address to somebody, somehow, somewhere.

Ask yourself to whom you gave your email address.

Examples to whom you disclosed your email address

Online Forums
News Groups
Sign-ups software downloads
From IRC and chat rooms
Your homepage
Your business card
White & yellow pages
Your friends!
This list only contains the main sources where you disclose your email address.

Other sources of Spam Email

Through Mail Relaying
Mail Relaying is sending mail to a user that is not local to the server you have connected to. It slows down your email and gives spammers free bandwidth.

Through dictionary attacks
This happens when spammers connect to your server and just trying random address or even stepping through the alphabet. Some servers will block the sending server after X number of failures, some set max recipients per message and others set a delay between recipients to slow down the spammer, causing them to go elsewhere.

Through the selling of e-mail addresses
Companies sell your information to other companies.

Trojans/Script capturing
By using HTML e-mails, spammers can confirm your email address. Best to disable preview window and delete the message. You can disable HTML or even block the email client from communicating on port 80.

Thanks

Have a great day.

Dear Yahoo Customer Support I have been attacked by a Trojan horse 3 days ago. I have since been unable to get into my email box, although I had an IT specialist clean the Trojan virus up but to no avail....

This is not Yahoo... there is a place to write to Yahoo when having mail problems. But it's a free service so they are not going to help you much. If you have PC problems, you need to resolve them.
