Question about RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone
My phone shuts down when I'm on it usually during a conversation and more easily when I put someone on hold to connect to another call. I don't think it's the battery because this will happen after it's been charged. This just started happening. Prior to that it worked well. The only suggestion from AT&T was to upgrade to a newer one because the phone has become defective. Is there another way to resolve this? The last thing I did was to download some Java stuff
I had a similar issue and here are some things to try.
Replace your battery.
Back up your pictures, 3rd party apps, contacts and calendar data. Wipe your system with the Desktop manager and reinstall.
Upgrade your operating system on your Curve. The latest at the time of my post is the 4.5.xxx. Go to www.blackberry.com for the link to the latest operating system software.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
