The power button on my husband's power chair will not turn on. the power stick works fine. Pressing the button, with lots of pressure would turn it on for a while, now that won't work. Karen

Karen The bottom of the button had a metallic coating and that has worn off making it hard to turn on. Now you can order a new faceplate for the joystick through Pride or your provider. But in the mean time (I didn't tell you this our secret) If you can carefully peel back the old facelate so you have access to the power switch bottom glue a small piece of foil to the bottom of the switch button. keeping it up and away from the joystick until it dries then carefully replace the faceplate and power tab back in place and try turning the power on. It should work like new until you get the new faceplate. Hope this helps you

That is possible. Check the power circuit from the battery and see if there is any loose connections or resistance in the circuit via the voltage drop method. Here are some links that may help:

What does 3 blinking wrench lights mean?

It is indicating a left motor fault, which is not good news. This is usually from a motor overheating and burning out, usually from overloading the chair or from driving it on unstable terrain like mud, snow, wet grass or sand. If that is the case, there could be more damage to the electronics once you get the motor replaced too. Replacing the motor is a lot of work and very expensive, so you may want to try to find a replacement chair.

YY count the number of flashes ie 4 flashes pause 4 flashes pause. This will give you the error code and will tell what is wrong with your chair Check out my tip on Flash codes if you can't find them in your manual. Without fixing the problem that generated the flashing you won't be able to use the chair until the problem is fixed. If you want you could contact the provider that sold you the chair and have them troubleshoot the problem for you Hope this helps

I think you have locked your controller, or put it in "sleep mode". Turn on the chair again and push the joystick forward, then to reverse, then forward again and release. It should fire up. Let us know if that worked.

The power indication display is flashing with all colors visible.

The flashing will come on if the chair is in neutral or if the charger is still plugged in when you turn it on. Place the chair in neutral (freewheel) by shifting the levers out, then place firmly back into drive.

Unplug from the charger and it should fire up. Sometimes, the chair will also go into "sleep mode".
Check your owners manual for this. Note, some have sleep mode potential but it's not in the manual, and if someone inadvertantly hits the right series of motions with the joystick, you can inadvertantly put it to sleep. Try turning the chair off, wait three seconds and power back up, then immediately press the "horn" button. This wakes up most of them. Others you need to power off, turn back on and then move the joystick forward, backward then forward again.

Good luck

Lights on hand control flash off and on and chair will not operat

There is a series of diagnostic flash codes associated with the controller. The diagnosis depends on which color and how many lights are flashing. If you post the combination, I can help you. Or you can download the Basic Operation Instructions of the Pilot Controller from the Pride website. The codes are listed on page two on the troubleshooting instructions.
