Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
when you hit the power switch to fire up your computer immediately keep hitting the alt\f10 key a few times then follow the instructions
Please make sure that you save any photos or important files or contacts onto a pendrive or an external harddrive before you do it
You dont have to wipe anything else from your c drive as it will come back to factory settings when it finishes But do stay with it because you will need to put some information in while its setting up again
good luck it wont take long
Remember to install all the updates from microsoft again and find some virus protection there are plenty of free ones around

The Aspire One is a netbook produced by
Acer; it does not come equipped with a CD ROM drive, so a traditional
hard drive reformat and Windows reinstallation is not possible without a
peripheral storage device. An external USB CD or flash drive will suffice, however.Difficulty:Moderate

Consider what data you still need from your Acer Aspire One's hard drive. Save the files to an external USB device.
Restart the Acer Aspire One's operating system. Wait for the Acer logo to appear on the LCD screen.
Press the "Alt" and "F10" keys at the same time to bring up the recovery menu. Press "Enter."
Click "Next." Follow the prompts that appear on the screen to restore the operating system back to factory settings.
Connect the external USB device to your Acer Aspire One and transfer the data you saved earlier back to the netbook.
