Change code number to a new number on safe e.d.safe s25ebf

To open an electronic safe the first time, press the following numbers/letters on the
electronic keypad -159B. (These numbers are preset. You should change the code as soon
as possible after opening the safe to insure proper security). After you have entered the
factory set code, you will need to turn the knob on the faceplate to open the door. You will
have 5 seconds to turn the knob before the locking mechanism is reactivated.
ENTERING YOUR SECURITY CODE
To enter your own security code you will need to follow the steps listed below:
1. After opening the electronic safe (with the pre -set factory code of 159B) locate the
small red button on the inside of the door near the hinge.
2. Press the red button and then release it, you will hear a beep.
DO NOT SHUT THE DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THAT YOUR NEW
SECURITY CODE HAS BEEN ENTERED CORRECTLY.
3. With the door open, enter your own personal security code, which can be 3- 8 digits
long, and confirm your new code by pressing the letter "B" on the electronic touch pad.
Before you close the door, try the new security code to make sure the lock release the
knob so you can turn it and retract the live action locking bolts.

There is nothing wrong with my smith corona typewriter. I just want to know what is the exact dimension (in inches) of the cartridge or the ribbon the matches to my SL 580. I saw an online store in amazon...

The Smith Corona SL460/470/480/500/560/570/580/600/SL Series all use the same ribbons.

Note that:
  • a Correctable Film Ribbon [original Smith Corona ref. 21000 (Dual Pack) or 67108 (6-Pack)] should be used with a Lift-Off Correcting Cassette [Smith Corona Ref. 21060 (Single Pack) or 67116 (3-Pack)];
  • a Multi-Strike Ribbon (Smith Corona Ref 21025) should be used with a Cover-Up Correcting Cassette (Smith Corona Ref.21065)

I have a esp office 6100 series all in one printer, it is connected to a fully functioning phone line - I have checked everything is working. Each time I try to send a fax I dial the number it dials 3 or...

most likely the fax is incorrectly set up as an extension in a multi-line system rather than a single "telephone". probably the fax injects digits such as a leading zero. the setup needs to be corrected.

I need to wire a GE #15086 programable timer into a 2 pole/ 3 way circuit.can it be done and how?

You want to wire GE 15086 timer in place of 3-way switch.

You do not have correct timer for the job.
GE 15071, 15086, 15065, 15066 series in-wall timers are for single-pole only.

Open following link to see GE timers and list of timers & manuals for 3-way switching.
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#15071

Timers made for 3-way are for indoor use only and not cold weather applications. This is because these timers use a battery or rechargeable battery that will not perform long-term when exposed to cold temperatures.
Wiring for 3-way timers requires slightly different wiring at remaining 3-way switch. In other words, the timer replaces one 3-way switch, and the other 3-way remains, but wiring is different on remaining switch.
Look at manual carefully.

Add a comment for more free help.
Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

After power outage, does not print confirmation report after faxing

I hope your fax is on a "surge Protector" providing protection for both Hydro and telephone line.
Use your operators manual to check setting of Confirmation Report as it can be set to OFF/ON. Proceedure varys by Manufacturer and model.

I get a white line on the printed pages on my Brother MFC4800. The line is about 5mm wide and runs down the left hand side of the paper, cutting through the type. Can you help please

Try cleaning the optics and the charge corona. If you do not have the operators manual which outlines the proceedure, go to www.welcome.solutions.brother.com. The proceedure is in the CLEANING documentation. Make sure the wire cleaner is pushed all the way back to its home position. Otherwise, the white line may return if the cleaner is left in the expoure path. IF THE WHITE LINE APPEARS ON PRINTED PAGES GENERATED BY YOUR COMPUTER, THE WIRE CLEANER IS THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE.. IF THE WHITE LINE APPEARS ON PRINTS THAT WERE SCANNED USING THE BROTHER SCANNER, THE OPTICS MAY BE SMUDGED. LOOK FOR CORRECTION FLUID ON THE GLASS **** (THE NARROW SCAN GLASS). THIS IS THE USUAL CAUSE.
